    hi everyone

my new 60 gal is now pretty much online, it has 25kg of live rock at the mo and another 12kg of medium and small chunks of rubble in my sump

i am slowly moving my livestock one by one from my nano but need to wait for the rest of my led strips to arrive before i can move my corals over.

all my filtration is in the back of my nano which is seperated ino four compartments
    1)heater
    2)cceramic rings and sponge filter
    3)bio balls
    4)return

i wouldnt mind keeping the tank running maybe biuld a three tier frag shelf but dont want to keep all those filters in the back and want to move all my rock to the big tank

could remove all these filters and add as much live rock rubble as i can in the second an third compatments and so moving all the live rock i already have in my nano for my big tank?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
You most definitely could remove all that stuff and go with rubble in the sump portion if you are only going to have a rack in the display. The only possible issue is the build up of detritus within the rubble, which can cause an elevated nitrate level down the line. Congrats on the upgrade.

yeah aint thought of that for the nano but have pretty much sorted the sump out by building a wall up of rock in between the drainage and then running a small circulation pump on the other side of the wall at the bottom of it and thats working well at the moment. hmmmm
