I picked up a nice Torch this weekend, two heads, doing great in the tank. This is my first Torch and I was wondering if my Ocellaris does host it, could it eventually kill it with kindness?

Here's a few pics under my actinics:

very nice torch mojoe. yes the clowns may disturb it when hosting, if they host at all.

if it does host it, watch the tentacle extension and once skeleton starts to expose itself its time to worry

Thx NU! My clown is really annoying the heck outta my goniopora currently so I'm trying to give it other options. It's not like I need the lifespan of my gonio to get any shorter than it already prob is :).

I'm also going to be getting an RBTA so hopefully between that and the Torch, this clown will wise up!

I wouldn't worry too much. I have the same scenario in my tank, and the clown has never bothered the Torch. He/she(?) will sleep on top of my Sarcophyton at times...

Like NU said - if you start seeing skeleton its time to start keeping an eye out for brown jelly disease. (Corals - Bacterial) Once that happens, you can basically kiss it goodbye.
