Best advice anyone will give you is research research and once you think you've got it down, research some more. =) it will save you alot of time and MONEY! Dont rush your cycle, folks always tend to get to excited and add things to early in to much quantity before its ready.

What style of tank are you looking at setting up?

Hi, welcome to 3reef and best of luck to you and your tank!
Make sure tank has cycled FULLYand research the compatability and husbandry issues regarding each animal you would like to buy.

What type of fish do you plan to have in your tank? Do you want reef? If so, PC lighting won't be enough. Do you have live sand? To get your tank cycled, toss in a piece of fresh shrimp you buy at the grocery store and let it decay a bit in your tank. You can also dump half a cup of pure ammonia (not Windex) in your tank to start the cycle as well.
