hello all im new to the reef scene, i have had fish only tanks in the past and just recently got involved with reef tanks and i got some questions about my set up.

ok so my tank is a 90 gallon tank with sump tank below, i bought the sump set up used so i dont know much about it. i included some pics of it. i dont know what brand skimmer i have but it is working well and all pump systems are fine.

    heres the questions:

    LIGHTING- i have 6 bulbs in my canopy running off of two icecap ballasts. if my addition is correct it should be 520 watts;

    BULBs BLUE: 1 VHO 454
    1 VHO super actinic
    1 super actinic

BLUBS WHITE: 2 VHO actinic white
    1 actinic white

i plan on getting a couple moonlights soon

so can anyone tell me if this sounds good for a reef tank? what lighting schedule should i put it on? how many hours on with all 6 blubs on? how many hours with just blues on? any suggestions as to how i should set my lighting up from morning to night. i included pics

TEMPERATURE- with just my blues on my tank is around 82 degrees (my heater is set to 82 as well) when i have all 6 blubs running my tank rises to around 89 degrees, that seems kind of hott? do i need any source of chillers or anything? i dont think i can fit fans on my canopy as it is filled up.

WAVE MAKERS- i have two skqwd systems coming from my return pump so i have four pumps in the display tank shooting the water from the skwd. any suggestions on water movemovent or how i should angle these. if i aim it down it moves my sand around and if i angle it up it shoots and grabs some air from the surface and pushing lil bubbles. i included a pictures. is this bad? i dont really like have bubbles in my tank.

LIVE ROCK- how does my live rock look, i have 82 pounds in right now i plan on getting more this weekend.

CORALS- i have a gsp (i think) and i have had it for a week and 5-6 tenicles open up on occasions. is this normal?

i only have another frag i dont know what it is but i took a picture looks like a tree, when i have all 6 blubs on it branchs out and extends nice and when i turn them off and just blues on it sucks in like a cauliflower, normal?

do i need to feed them anything? anything i should know about?

    TEST RESULTS- salinity = 1.025, temp = 81-89, PH = 8.2, ammonia = 0, nitrite = 0, nitrate = 40(i think)

tank is a week into filtration and water and sand was taken from a mature tank.

    thanks!

Everything you state is normal, but you want to get the nitrates down below 10 and your GSP will show much more. You have enough light to grow anything you want anywhere in the tank. Most people keep the blues on 10 to 12 hours and whites 8 to 10 hours.

89 is a high for a reef, do you have a chiller? temp should only go up to 82 in my opinion at the most and it should not fluctuate more than 2 degrees.

i would highly recommend it if your temp go up that high or fluctuates more than 2 degrees.
