Ok picking up my 125 this Sunday. It will be a slow process but hope to do it right. Leaning towards reefcleaners for some dry rock. Not sure how much to buy. also you guys have said to put the base rock first then live on top. well the plan is to put the base rock and a few pieces of live and cycle it that way and grow my own live. The real question is do you put a little of your substrate down and smush the rock into it then start to build need help here. Also what substrate do you suggest some say coral then sand on top looking for help. This tank will have a little of everything sorta of a community reef tank. just easy going. As always thanks in advance.:-/

general practice is to put your rock down first then substrate so that the rock will not shift when something digs in what ever you use as a substrate.
