Still a beginer, but already full of knolledge thanks to my great LFS, and this site! This is my tank i got for my 18th. It's a 34 gallon, Red sea Max. (awesome tank, i recomend it to anyone)
It's been about 6 weeks, and everything has cycled.
I have a black perc. clown, a perc. clown, bulb anenome, 2 blue damsels (soon to go back to the store) They were my cycling fish. A horse shoe crab, some hermits, and a few snails.
My anenome and clowns are an amazing thing to watch.
    And luckily everything is happy!

After the damsels go im thinking, a diamond goby, 2 feeder shrimp, some polyps, and other coral, and maybe something else small..

Let me know what you guys think.

Pics look great... my only concern is that it may have been a little early, putting an anemone in the tank, already. Especially if you just finished the cycle, and are still tweaking out water conditions, etc.

    Yeah i agree.
Amazingly though It seemed my tank finished cycling at 3 weeks. Which i've never heard of but amonia, and nitrates dropped to 0., algea quite growing.
    Everything seems super healthy.
Get occacsional algea that i scrape off the tank.
and my anenome was kinda wierd the first few days, then it found a spot it really likes, and there's an un-bindable bond between it and my clowns.

Cant you feed the diamond gobys sorts of shrimp and worms?
It seems i heard you can stick food in the sand near there den, and they will pick it up.

Yep! You can stuff the substrate with food. Sandsifters do reach early demise because of the lack of food after a while. Good job on adding the anemone as one of the first. Keeps all your future corals safer. And thanks for the pics. Another Oregonian!

Great pics, My only concern is your "3 week" cycle and you introduced the BTA to early, in the sense of maturity of the tank. They need a well established tank. Another concern is the two different types of clowns that you have. Wish you luck. Luna

Great looking tank, i have the same 2 clowns, they get along fine and with all else in tank even the devil damsel, agree with adding the anemone to early though, my tank is over 3 months old now, gonna wait till 6 months before i add one, also my chalk goby will swim up and eat a chunk or 2 of the frozen mysis & krill that i feed the tank to make up for lack of food within the substrate...

yes you can. I have had my diamond goby for 3 weeks now and this weekend was the first time I observed him eat at feeding time. he may have just been sneaking the food before. you will be fine as long as you can place the food in his den. have fun with him they are a blast to watch.

Yeah my clowns are great companions.
And i was told if it was too early to add an anenome it wouldnt eat, or be healthy. Mine eats like crazy, and is big and plump.
