So I just did a water test to make sure the external skimmer didn't leak any water.

I noticed a small noise on the pump bulkhead section, it was air sucking in a little. So I took the pump off and the entire pump hose fell off!!!!! This skimmer is only a few days old and has never seen salt water. Am I covered under any type of protection or am I SOL?

Can I do anything to fix this or do I need to buy a new one if BRS or ReefOct doesn't help?

Thanks, I hope it gets resolved.

What are the odds of everything working if I end up with the glue route?

if you use acrylic glue it is very similar to welding the acrylic, you would need to prep the surface you would be glueing very well.

then to be safer than sorry you could also heat shrink the tube to help with water leaking.

I wouldn't see it being a problem to get it replaced, other than a delay in your build.

Yeah, that piece had to be damaged during shipping, it shouldn't break that easily. They'll take it back;)
