I finally got my new seahorses, since the are wild caught I had a little
bit of an issue at first because they just did not want to eat well. But
a little TLC and they now eat as well as my original 2. I now have 2
males and 3 females (lucky guys)

There are many more picture, here is a link to a slide show of them.
Let me know if it works okay

This is from left to right, original female, center-New female, right-new
    female and top-old male

old female, look at the beautiful markings she has!

All three females, the little female spends allot of time hitched to her
bigger sister. This photo shows just how big the big female is.

new female, Its a tie which one I like better her or the old female.

New Male, i am still not really happy with the way he is eating so I am
really taking my time feeding him, I spent about
30 minutes dropping mysid in the tank near him last night. He spend allot
of his time looking but doesn't eat 9 out of 10, but every so often he will
    grab one.
He also has a real fascination with hermit crabs, he gets right down in
there with them. Occasionally they will reach for him but he backs off
pretty quickly. At first I thought maybe he was looking at food but I
have watched him do this even before I feed them.

I also have recently added a Scooter Blenny, was a little worried about
what he was going to eat because there isn't that many pods in this tank
but he took to eating the mysid just like the seahorses do really fast.

Last but not least I have an Spotted Mandarin, it eats almost all frozen
also, but I do see him picking at the pods once in a while. This one is a
real bugger to get picture of!

Yes both of them are. The spotted Mandrin I got from another reefer and she has been eating Mysis for about 6 months. The scooter started about 6 weeks ago, it was watching the other one day and must have decided that eating that was allot easier and filling to eat the mysis!

I was just going to ask how you got them to eat the mysis shrimp. I'm going to try that one on mine just so he has another food resource.

Didn't have to do much! Like i said having the one eating already I think help out bunches. I think the woman I got the Spotted from said she started with live brine and worked it up to frozen over time. It now will eat anything I put in the tank including some of the crab pellets I used to drop in there once in a while.

These are Hippocampus Erectus, I would like to eventually have some H. Kudus but their fry are pelagic and so much harder to care for. The H. Erectus from southern waters fry are benthic, and much easier to raise. I currently have 3 that are about 4 months old. Hopefully I will have more to raise in a few months! :)

This is a 56 "Column" its 30" wide x 18" deep and almost 28" high. I started with a 29 gallon then moved to this tank.

Daily and even better twice daily. I feed in the morning around 6:30 then the lights go off and come back on at 2:00pm and I feed at night around 7:00pm.
