Well, i am super excited because my new Typhoon III just arrive from air, water, ice!! YAY! So i got it all installed and followed the directions step by step. Right now, i am at the step where i let it run for 1 hr and waste all the water i collect. So, my only problem is that the fast flush valve seems to be whistling. The direction say that it should make NO noise.... i have flushed it many times, and even let it fast flush for a good 10 minutes straight. Anybody have any ideas?? I know i can call the company, and i know they have great customer service, but its a little late and i am leaving town early in the morning. let me know what you guys think. Thanks:)

The production line (tube out of which your RO/DI produced water emanates) must be blocked for starters. This could be accomplished by a float valve at the end that's floating (off), or simply a valve turned to the off position at the end of the production line.

Next, turn the fast flow valve OFF (perpendicular to its housing,) and give it an hour. If it continues to whistle, something's wrong. Again, this must all happen under the scenario where there is no demand for the RO/DI water, and the ASOV senses this.

I experienced the same thing the first day I got my Typhoon unit. Once I was done with the 1 hour waste process, I shut the fast flush valve and noticed the unit still sounded like it was producing water. Give it overnight if necessary. It should work itself out. It did in my case.

    Good luck! :)
