new mh in mind :(

anybody think this is good deal? i never heard of this brand before. I was gonna buy sunpod tomorrow, i told the guy to hold it for me. Unfortunatly he said he will hold it, but sold it to someone else.
The new one is 140 dollar

Here is used one same brand, but this one is older model, i can tell it by ridiculosly old looking ballast.
He said his willing for 100, should I take this or the 140 new one with newer model?

And is this even a good brand?
Anyway, what do you guys think of this one?

I have never owned any MH, but I have been doing some research.
I have talked the guy from Fishneedit, quick response with email: I take customer service somewhat serious. I liked that.

I liked it because of the flexibility in design wise when you go big later on: you can connect those MHs with T5 fixtures together.

I would try the one on the CL, you would upgrade the ballast with something reliable and decent if you bought the new one anyway.


But remember, you get what you pay for. Im looking into LED (DIY) now

 

alot of people use the fishneedit fixtures around here...unreal pricing for what you get but they are not the best quality around, they are however very good for what they cost---i have a t5ho on my diy fuge and so far so good..
