    i got some Lr today 20lbs , on one of the rocks there some type of polyps they look fairly healthy i feel as if i could save them , my question is should i keep the rock with coral curing with other live rock or add it to display? so it can get some light plz i have 65g tank and the rock is half a pound and has been in a stillwater bucket for 3days it is currently in the curing bucket but i wanna try to keep the polyps

    Is this uncured live rock.If its cured live rock give it a freshwater bath.That should kill anything in the rock.

    no its uncured liverock i bought it from my friend but he had it in a bucket i his room 3 days no water movement is it ok to put it in my dt

    Just frag some off the main peice of rock.That should be just fine.Then you can cure the rest of the rock

    a 1/2 pound uncured rock in a 65 shouldn't be all that bad, just watch your levels and have a water change ready to go if anything goes south.

    Like will said, tank the rock, just be ready to do a wc if needed.
