new light and BAM bubble algae

    ok so what kills bubble algae. ive had my new light for 2 or 3 days and now the back of my tank has it all over the center. please tell me i dont have to strip my tank. its on some rocks and the sand and the tube for my filter too

    I would manually remove what I could reach. Try your best not to break any of them. Then a couple of emerald crabs should take care of what you cannot reach.

    lol thats sooooo what i was trying to avoid but unless i wanna spend all my time trying to pull it all out and hope for the best thats probly what ill have to do

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Manual removal and emerald crabs always worked well for me. +1 to jonjonwells.

    take the affected rocks out and cut the bubble algae off with a razor.
    then rinse rocks in tank water and put them back in. Working great for me so far.

    im going to try and post a vid soon to confirm what i think. the effected rock is at the bottom of the rest so im just going to break it down and transplant my livestock to a 10 gal holding tank until im done
