New JBJ heater

Has anyone tried these yet?
JBJ True Temp Heating System w/Controller & Titanium Heating Element

 

For that price I would look at getting a ReefKeeper Lite (I think I saw these for $100 somewhere) and a regular heater, it will probably cost slightly more but you will get the additional functionality of having a controller.

 

Those JBJ's have a controller. That's why they are so expensive.

 

Finnex titanium heaters with a temp controller are a better product imo

 

But it's just a thermostat, you can get the same functionality on a low end controller and get all the other stuff the controller does as well for just a few dollars more.

Im actually selling it now... if you have electronic ballast it will alter readings due to x10

they need to be at least 10 feet away from ballast

 

Yeah, might as well buy a cheap controller and an ebay titanium heater.
