new hydor smart wave controller ????'s

in a 55g with 2 1400 evo's should i run alternating currents at 10-15 sec's or 1 minute or 15 minutes? Don't mind playing just curious what ya'll thought!

lol thx! Ussually spend it on vacations, but this damn reef addiction has got me! Thank goodness for my little mobile home in florida.

BTW this thing was only $64 shipped, wish i could say the same about the macbook. lol

 

ok have 1 1400 in the rear left facing the front middle, and 1 in the rear right facing the rear middle, operating at about 5 minutes on and then off! Seems to be making a nice flow to the system! Def stirring some crap up though. Water change is ready.

So far so good, running them on and aft about 2 minutes at a time. No knocking from the eve's either. It really couldn't be any simpler to operate, just some patience getting everything aimed right. After they turn off, you still get a nice wave like effect till they turn back on. I'm happy, I'm def getting a little more random flow in the low flow areas this way.

 

How is the hydor smart wave?

Waiting for two hydor evolution 1050s...didn't order the wave maker just wondering if anyone had it and what u thought...also picked up a few of those washers for the clicking noise just in case...great advise with the video that was posted
