Anyone ever get this purple fuzzy algae before. I need to feed lighter for some time and maybe some bigger water changes. Any other ideas?
    Thanks,
    Adam

If you PM John Maloney, he'll ID it for you. I can't remember the thread where he photographed and I.D.'d many macroalgaes.

Callithamnion (cotton candy algae) is a pain. Mexican turbo snails, rabbit foxface fish, and occasionally a tang will eat it. Increase your phosphate removal media, keep your nitrates low, and that will help a lot.

Michael Janes, some one I highly respect, ID'd it as Asparagopsis taxiformis back in 2003 in a SeaScope article ( http://www.instantocean.com/sites/InstantOcean/knowledge/seascope/past/SS_Vol20_2003.pdf ). Where did you arrive at Callithamnion by? Is that the genus?
