My new friends that arrived today. Not sure if they are alive yet - they are floating.

The female filamented flasher is to take over my beloved Zoom's spot in the tank. She looks like her too! The female scooter is for my male scooter. The female mate I bought him with died a few weeks back. She wasn't such a strong eater - but she wasn't thin. However, I'm thinking maybe not eating shrimp is what hurt her. Could have been something internal as well. The tenuis is for my acro crab. I hope he will hop in it so I can get him out of my fuge and into a yummy acro for him!

Thanks! I already have a male and he is one of my favorites in the tank. I'm hoping he will take nicely to his new lady friend!

Thanks guys! The tenuis isn't as big as what I was looking for, but the colors were awesome. Couldn't pass it up. It's close to 4" I think.

Just got the fish in. The wrasse was super stressed, but alive. Hopefully she found somewhere good to hide. She is waaaay bigger than I was expecting! Yikes. LOL A cutie though.

Had some drama with the scooter. She is teeeeny tiny, but she caught her gill on the net. She finally got free, but is just in the corner not moving. I hope she is just stressed and will pull through this. :(

Ouch... that is never fun. I have given up on using nets. I use cupped hands if at all possible. I can assure safety, and it gives them a minute to get their bearings before venturing away from the safety of my hands.

I use hands for certain fish, but I thought a scooter would be okay....ugh. Now I know. I'll start doing hands for all fish.
