I have a new reef system and Yesterday I was sitting watching the goings on and looked at the sand on the side of the tank. There was a 4 to 5 inch worm for a lack of a better word. It still hid part of its body in the rocks so I have no idea how long it is. My tank is about 5 months old.

But it was not a bristle worm not like the ones I have seen. It has a white translucent body and four lines of feelers (lack of better word) along it's body so it actually looks kind of square but with the length I'm not sure of. These feelers, legs or whatever they are are dark baby blue.

It is georgeous but I can't find any mention of them in any web site I have been in. ANY IDEAS???????????

Welcome to 3reef. No idea on your hitchhiker, sounds like a great looking creature. If you can get a pic post and PM LeslieH. Leslie has great knowledge in that area.
