Thank you much Steve. I really hope it does inflate again soon. It has three stalks, Could I frag it?

I cant give you latin names for the 2 corals ,

I can say both can be fragged, but allow them time to settle, adjust and grow in your tank before doing so, IMHO

    Thanks for your help steve.
I do plan to give them time to settle before I frag them. At least 2-4 months. Also, I'm going to let my gf, the eye surgeon frag them. she has the confidence and precision to cut coral. I don't have the heart to do it lol;)

    Update

From the looks of it, I should be worried now, shouldn't I?
I still do think that it may be shedding it's outer skin because all parms are still fine. Nothing has risen to indicate a dying and decaying matter.
But here's a pic 3 days after purchase. What you guys think?:cry::cry:

    Another update,
Ammonia went through the roof so I gather that the find=ger leather is dead.
I wasn't really attached to it much because I only got it 4 days ago but I spent a lot of $$$$ for it.
    So Sad:cry:

I have a colt coral that does that impression every so often, and comes back better than ever afterwards

ist difficult to see on the photo
but IME dont give up on it until bits start falling off

check the flow, of there is to much flow, they do retract to protect themselves from damage

    hope it works out Siddique
