So i am trying to figure out where to place my two new chalice frags. I have two tanks. One is a 14gal biocube and 29gal biocube. The tanks have stock lighting and medium flow. The 14gal has a total of 48watts(24actinic,24daylight) and the 29gal has a total of 72watts(32actinic,32daylight). I know your supposed to slowly acclimate coral to your lighting, but where abouts should this coral end up in my tank considering its lighting and water flow needs.::)

Power Compacts! I have two acans that i have had for three months in my tank now. I started them out on the sand bed, and than a couple months later they didnt look so hot. I moved them from the sand bed up to about five inches below the waterline and about six inches from the light bulbs. They are really thriving up there and eating very well. They seem like they may have lost a little color but not much. So that being said, i think i will just start them out on the sand bed and slowly move them up over the next few weeks. I think i might dedicate the top rock in my tank to acans, because they are very aggressive. Then keep my zoo colonies down lower in the tank? Does this sound OK?

i would still start them out at the bottom and move them up about 2" per week till you get where you want them to be. Then check to see if they color up more, then they are happy, if they start fading or turning brown move them down lower again
