Hey everyone, it's been a while since i've posted. Went though a lot of major life moves and bought a house, getting married, etc. During the multiple moves the tanks suffered a bit and am looking to upgrade and consolidate into one single water system "mega-tank." Goal of this system is to be the most technologically savvy / best practices (i.e. going beananimal overflow vs. durso) and low maintenance as possible.

The following is what i'm planning so far - to hopefully begin in June this year. I take quite a bit of time planning things before executing when it comes to reef aquariums so... here are my rough notes, anything you'd do differently or stay away from, any tips or good resources for what i'm looking at buying/DIY-ing? All comments are appreciated. I have a good handle on scrubbers already. I've listed my current livestock and how i plan to split them up, livestock recommendations are appreciated, i prefer non-aggressive fish.

    Tanks:
Custom Stand shaped like a sideways L -DIY
    Tank Glass 120 long ( rimless ) 72 x 24 x 16 tall
Sump 40 long, 2 sections, 1 for algae scrubber, 1 for return reservoir, high throughput
Above-Tank 30 gallon display fuge w/ Macros and/or Mantis, driven from return reservoir
Coast 2 coast 60in "bean animal" overflow

    Live rock - 3 islands
    Fiji Pink sand -course grain

    Filtration: Algae Scrubber -DIY
Calcium Reactor -DIY (w/ ph meter)
    MP40 wireless (x2 ?)
    Reef Angel Controller w/ wireless
2x 30" LED fixtures with PWM drivers - DIY
    Better RODI 4/5 stage unit

Coral setup: SPS island, LPS island, Zoa garden island
Livestock (main): clowns, B. cardinals, pistol/yasha goby, dottyback
    Livestock(fuge): domino damsel

Thanks for looking and for the advice. Total budget right now I have pinned at just over 3,500 dollars. ;D
