I'm starting to believe all Koran angelfish hate me. See, http://www.3reef.com/forums/tropical-fish/our-new-koran-angel-71331.html
    and
    http://www.3reef.com/forums/tropical-fish/second-attempt-s-76407.html.

The last one settled in and was eating from hands - all good. It then appeared to get a little bit of fin rot (on its tail). However it was still eating and about a week later it wasn't better. So i checked the tank -- all good however i did a water change anyway -- yet still didn't get any better. :( --> RIP buddy.

My LFS had in a beautiful Hippo tang (1-1.5 inches) and a cleaner wrasse that was eating frozen food. So I decided that both would be required in my aquarium. The logic being that he would 'clean' up the Koran and help the tang through any introduction ich

It appears it was to late for the Koran but the two newbies are settled fine and eating as well. Pics soon!

Oh and any advice on Korans ? I'm thinking one more attempt.... That or i'm just a sucker for punishment.

How old is your tank. Juvi korans like to pick at the rock a lot for algae. Also be sure you are feeding an angel specific food. They need it to get the proper vitamins.

tank would be 6-7mths plus cycle. I was feeding mysis/brine with vitamins and flake as well as angel pellets. I'm putting them on hold for a while until the tank ages a bit more. No that i think about, i've got some heavy grazers
