So I just picked this guy up from my lfs but I am drawing a blank on what I have. Fanworms, which are a super cool blue, and what type of coral are they burrowed into? IMG_1428.JPG

Porites or a goniopora is my guess. Christmas tree worms are really cool. I like the blue one

Christmas tree worms not the easiest of critters to keep. But ever so cool!

If im not mistaken if you are able to keep the "host" coral alive and thriving you've already won half the battle

I believe that's just the skeleton or "head"; maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see any live flesh in the pic. Zissou, have you seen any flesh or tentacles on it?

Yes the whole porite/host coral is very much alive and actually very beautiful to the naked eye. The whole thing gives off a maroon and light green glow. Not to mention the christmas tree worms are sick! But yes they will be difficult to keep happy the more I read into them.
