anyone know if my royal gramma will stress out the hippo? I noticed he's protective of ALL the rocks lol...He tried to nip at the clowns but eventually they all swim in peace.

The gramma should not bother the hippo. It would be the other way around, if anything. And seeing that the gramma was added first, you should be ok if you have enough rock in there. The hippo will likely stay out in the open swimming like they do - while the gramma stays in the rock most of the time.

I posted because I thought it would be the way you described it. The gramma gives the hippo a hard time to go to any rock. I read that I should move the LR around and have everyone establish a new home. What worried me was when he actually tried to nip at the hippo. the RG is smaller then the Hippo

Not suprising, RGs are super territorial. Sometimes best to put them in near last, for that reason. Eventually though it will probably give up. In the meantime I don't think the RG will hurt the tang. They are more talk than action, sort of speak. I.e. they will tend to open their mouths wide and try to appear big and tough. The hippo should be fine though, at worst he'll just learn to swim in a different part of the tank LOL.

Congrats on the new add. Where's the BTA though ;D

Re-arranging your rock would be a good avenue to explore if the bullying continues IMO.

BTA = bubble tip right? lol im still learning the jargon! I am still about 2-4 months away from buying a BTA. My tank will be 4 months in a week and a half.

Yup, and 6 months is a good target for a BTA. Sounds like a good plan.

Also getting back on topic, I agree with M-Ocean Man on rearranging the rock. The aggression probably will subside a bit IME, nut if it doesn't seem to be in the next few days, that should work.
