Well see thats why i didnt want to do it, but i thought i read some where (on 3reef) that it will cover with coralline eventually, I know it looks tacky. I guess ill have to live with it for now until i talk the wife into letting me get a bigger tank lol.

Also i wanted to be able to see under the rock, and if i cover the PVC then i wouldnt be able to see under it at all, any ideas on how to cover it and still see the underside?

Yes, i did have sand in it when i moved but it wasnt very white anymore and had a lot of detrius (spelling off i think) in it so i shop vaced it up. Was thinking on getting some more sand and adding it slowly but i havent decided yet, its not as bad as i thought it would look.

Are you trying to say something? lol i dont like the sound of this, but yes i do and my nitrates are always under 5ppm usually lower. i do have some snails and maybe 5 blue legged hemits in there some where. I do plan on stocking up soon though. But i have only had this set up (at the new place) for 4 days or so.

no not really IfI was gonna say something, I'd just say it  naw I was just wondering how it's working out, if there was anything that could be detrimental by not having sand......the ocean doens't have a glass bottom, that I've ever seen :hehe:
