Thanks! ORA Derasa (tan, picked him up from Reef a Palooza for 25 bucks) & Maxima (blue/purple)

@Ezz1r - Thanks! I always appreciate the input. And, Yeah it was fun stacking the rock that high, at some point I thought I might have gone overboard, but It worked out. Can always yank some later if need be. Thanks again!

I've got the fish & coral names down pretty good, but I need to work on remembering the names of clams. :)

;D Fortunately there are only a few popular ones, so it makes it easier to remember them, vs. the tons of pieces of coral and such. Heh.

True, true. :) I think the main ones are derasa, corcea, maixma & squamosa?

Yup. Spot on. I got some book on clams that they gave away from Marine Depot booth, that had some good reads on the different types and their care. It also gave me a sick case of the "I wants" since there are some gorgeous clams to be had. I think the next addition will be a Maxima like this; after I save 250 bucks that is. LOL

haha $250. That is a gorgeous clam though! I am going to have LEDs for my (soon to be)SPS tank. If they do well under the lights, my mom said she'd go with me to the LFS for Christmas to get me this maxima clam I was looking at. :) 3-4" for $45. I'm also looking into a flame scallop.

Sweet, had an electric flame scallop in my JBJ 12 DX for a while, it did great. Lost it (and the rest of the tank) due to our house keepers spraying some kind of wood polish into the tank on "accident." What a nightmare that was. I think I am gonna be moving to LED's also this Christmas, I figure at 600 bucks to build it myself, the energy savings alone are gonna be worth it after 9 months- 1 year. Since I am spending about 70-90 bucks a month on lighting alone here in California. Edison seems to think our household is "tier 5!" dun dun duh. LOL

I'm gonna go with 2 Boost LED par30 bulbs over my 29g. Unfortunately, it will be very difficult to find LEDs that will penetrate with good levels, through 30" of water. Good luck. Try checking out the Canon LED pendants. They are pricey, but VERY strong.

I really want an electric flame scallop, but my LFS only has the regular ones & LA only has electrics part of the time.
