Welcome to 3reef, very nice scape.

You're right on the frogspawn, the other corals I can not make out. I am curious about the second image in the second post, I just can not make out what that is.

Welcome to 3reef! It looks like you are off to a good start, I love the dimensions of a 30 long tank. The tang police will chime in soon, but in short, you shouldnt keep a tang in that size tank. Even when they are small they need alot of swim room and they have high metabolisms that require them to eat alot, which equals alot of waste. Thats something that doesnt work well in a nano tank. You've come to the right place, there are alot of people here who can help you turn your tank into a wonderful reef!

Ahh ok that makes more sense, a Goniopora with it's polyps retracted.

Maybe someone with more experience will chime in, but I think the success rate of keeping one long term is pretty low. I know there is one type that is easier to keep.

I have only been around for a month and this is the best saltwater site I ha e found. You will really enjoy it here.

I like the looks of your tank, you seem to be headed in the right direction.

    What area are you from?
