Hi 3reefers, formerly I was known here as PELADO. You can check out my old tank that I had to leave behind when I moved to Brazil.
Now I am moving back to the CA and want to build another tank.
Right now, all options are open and I am starting to research the latest equipment.
I am considering a 75-130 gallon tank. I guess the bigger the better... ;D
I have a few months to do research and appreciate any input about new equipment and lighting.
I am thinking about having a refugium sump with protein skimmer, calcium and phospate reactor. LED Radion lighting etc.
What are your recommendations on how to build that sump?
Any experience with best results, best setup?
Soooo many questions. I hope that many newbies can benefit from this thread.

Welcome back. If you have been in the hobby before then you know bigger is always better! (if my wife says its ok...) Sounds like you have a master plan already brewing. Lots of plans on here giving sump examples. Also check out Innovative Marine's all in one tanks. I have a NUVO 30 but they have large tanks as well. Sump is located on back of tank instead of underneath.

Welcome back! What dimensions under the stand are you working with? Or will you have a sump room?
