nah! I'm guessing its an enclosed area with a light and pumps! alot of heat sources with no export of heat! Cut a hole in the back and add a small computer fan!

this cabinet is super old and made of hardwood. you have no idea how big of a PITA it was to drill the one hole to fit cords and pvc through >.< need a jigsaw to just cut a square in the back that'd be a lot easier than drilling another 2" hole

i just need to keep an eye on things, its all brand new, the heater prob needs to be reset to like 76 and i need to make sure i'm only running my fuge lights 5 hours a day i think then everythign will be okay

82 this morning, i'm thinking by running the fuge lights for 5 hours a night things should be okay.

going to let the tank sit for a while and see where my heater puts things. i've been reading really crappy reviews about my heater. (Hydror Theo 100w & I have a 200w on the way)

Says 100w are rated for up to 27g which after live rock and sand displacement I probably have somewhere in that range so I dont know if a 200w would even be necessary.

If you have your heater set to say 78 degrees if the water gets warmer then that it turns off. So dont turn it down. You will just make for bigger temperature swings. Which is not good. lol I agree with drilling the stand and adding a fan. If you dont adding the fuge wont do you much good other than the added water volume. If you cant run the lights on it I mean. Have you considered running a DSB in your fuge?
