Need your suggestion PLEASE! Orphek 156W for 70gal TALL (36x15x30)

I've been killing myself trying to find the right lighting for my wife's 70 Gallon TALL 36x15x30 tank, well I think I found it! Its the Orphek 156W, im THINKING one unit hung 8-10" high will work! and still penetrate the 30" depth! I found a used unit for $450! and about to pull the trigger tomorrow and buy it, unless someone can convince be otherwise! Look for opinions thank you very much JOE!!!

Also was looking at a DIY made unit which has Cree 3w bulbs which are dimmable, four rows 12 per row, 24 blues and 24 whites with 2 fans and in a catalina fixture for $400.

Thats a steal on the orphek! hard to pass that up! Where do ya live and where'd ya find that?

 

If its orphek thats a steal, thats a top end light. But raises the question why so cheap? those lights have not come down in price at all since the release. seems quite odd to find it for 450. Or you found an amazing deal.

 

well the guy only posted it on craigslist and came across it the minute it was posted. The person ended up going with a radion and loves it! so he just wanted half of what he paid for it!

 

i've talked to him on the phone and he has send me all the photos of the unit with lights on and off, i looks legit, i am also paying him though paypal just in case anything goes wrong! CYA
