I am keeping my fish I have now. Midas blenny, 2 oc clowns, engineer goby, 6 snails and a peppermint shrimp. I have a spinny urchin, but it will come out when I start adding corals. I may add one or two more fish after I do the change over.

I think I am going to go with the eshopp pf800, pumping 800gph and the taam rio 1700 return pump, pumping 642gph. Does anyone think different? I should be able to get the tank to turn over 10x an hour

I have the exact tank you have and I went with a Lifereef brand overflow box. The 600 gph slim-line. They cost more than the ones you will find in stores, but they are worth the money. Mine starts up everytime and I've have gone through several power outages with it. For the return pump I used the green marineland NJ300 premium utility pump. It has been going strong now for over a year. I like it because you can adjust the flow right on the pump itself. It's rated about 775 gph, but since there is some head loss it equals out.

Always get a slightly bigger pump since you will have some head loss and you can install a ball valve to reduce the flow if needed.
