Need opinions...

I don't plan on getting water from there anymore. I have been lucky enough with the water I have gotten from there to not have any algae problems or anything else. I am planning on buying my own RODI unit soon so I don't have to worry about it anymore

 

Good plan on the RODI! However, I bought one 3 months ago..still haven't hooked it up...lol! Leave it to the plumbers son to not want to plumb.

 

I rarely do it. They got a new vedor like 3 months ago the petco by me did at least I have done it twice once for some crabs and they did great and another for a fish all still alive and well. I just go in and say I want this call me when its here.

Also I would not go back to your LFS for water they could be just selling you tap or worse RODI with filters that have never been changed.

 

i would tell them about the issue if only to see how they react.
