Need opinions...

One of my local stores is totally open to being told they have a nasty hitchhiker in their tank. Their first hint is, me setting up my tripod in the middle of their store to take a picture.

 

LMAO, that's pretty funny.

 

I would mention it to them. If they respond in a snide way I would not frequent that store again.

 

I would have mentioned it to them. My LFS seems to be experienced with the hobby & is there to help. One time I saw a fish had been pretty badly injured. They took it out immediately. Though the way you talk about your LFS tells me they probably don't care. :/

 

I would go to my petco before I would go to your LFS FLFishGirl!

I think you are right. I am gonna go back tomorrow (it's 5 minutes down the road). I need some frozen food anyway.

Yeah, luckily I have 5 LFS to choose from.

Lol, my Petco is HORRIFIC!!! I have never seen so much Ich, bacterial infections, and fin rot in my life.

 

Well their are only two fish stores in my area both petco. They do have Ich sometimes but for the most part I drive a couple hours and just use them for dry goods. Or I order from their vendor and tell them just float the bag until I pick it up.

 

That sucks. I looked online at their stuff. You ship it to their store?

 

I always pipe up on problems. It's our responsibility. I'm just not afraid of sales people. I agree on not getting water there w/o tds meter.
