Need opinion as im about to move

    I think you might have it. If you say the movers have moved tanks before that helps. If you can pull out your LR, and catch your fish, and get a LFS to hold them... you are home free. Are you a member of a local reef club??? They are an invaluable resource. Try to see if anyone has a QT tank they can hold your fish in for you.

    The fish is the problem... as long as they are taken care of the rest is easy. Pull out the LR... drain some water... moves some water rock and the tank... fill it back up. Get it stable and warmed up and add the fish back at a later date.

    Update I finally convinced the Officer that is in charge of me to allow me to have Sunday off to move my tank yayayaya and I picked some large rubbermaid bins up to put the live rock and fish in. I can put all the fish in the same bin right its like 20gal?

    I did a long term transport by putting everything is a large rubber tub with a PH, a heater and was able to put my lights on top with an inverter for the drive. I'm sure I could have let it all be in the dark for the 3 days it took to get my tank up, but everything loved it. I'm sure you'll be just fine now that you can do it yourself.
