Getting a little bored so I’m looking for something different. Converted one of our frag tanks into an aggressive FOWLR. Added a rock waterfall for some aesthetic variation but it’s still not satisfying my need for the unusual. We may be able to get our hands on a very large tank 500G+ and was thinking about another FOWLR single species tank with about 20 yellow tangs or anthias or a school of lookdowns.

Looking for ideas. What would be something unique we could do with a large tank?

I'd do about 20 chromis, minimalist aquascape, big tangs, big angels and some softies.

I'd definitely look into sharks, rays and maybe some other predator types as long as they wont eat eachother. would make for a very intresting tank.. or get a jelly tank and set that up. would be kind of cool.

Sharks rays and morays would be neat but I have this thing about my fingers. I like them to remain close to my hands. My luck I would be cleaning or something and chomp!

That volcano tank is neat but I feel sorry for that poor sailfin. Not enough room for it to swim. That tank is similar to our waterfall. Here it is when it was cycling.

That's pretty cool! Maybe a mantis tank? or Pico reef?
