    Another +1 from me.

If the LR is from a running system , and transported fairly quickly, you won't have any die off at all. Remember, LR 9and corals) go without water at low tide for HOURS and bake in the sun. Granted sponges don't really grow on the rocks that get exposed like this, but you get my drift.

The live sand in bags is a rip off, and the amount of beneficial bacteria in it is negligible at best. You would be better off buying new dead sand (aragonite reef sand, not play sand which will more than likely have a lot of silicates in it) and after rinsing that all out to get the dust out of it, putting that in the tank, witha few cups of real live sand from and existing reef tank to seed the dead sand you jsut put in. The LR will also seed the sand, but some critters like to only live in the sand, so the few cups of LS will help here.

I am about to transfer my 90g's contents to my 193g setup.

I am buying 3 bags of new caribsea special reef grade aragonite, and adding all my existing LR after I seed the new sand with a few cups of the LS from my tank.

That is really all that is to it, but test for ammonia and such to be safe before adding the corals and fish if you have an existing tank.

BTW, it is Fiji LR , not Fuji LR. I don't think there are any coral reefs on Mt Fuji in Japan.;)
I can say Fiji has some awesome reefs. I was certified to be an open water diver in Fiji.

Lol, damn must of been thinking about my trip to Mt. Fuji when I typed that :). Thanks for catching it. I think I am just going to go sandless at this time and see how things go. If anything I might put some down just to cover the glass as I am not to crazy about how it looks without. Just as an update I have seen about 10 small starfish about 1/8 of an inch white in color with some brown spots and have atleast 40+ white looking sponges, 10-15 filter feeders (tube worms) and a very tiny shrimp that becomes extremely active when the LED lights are on and the primary lights are off.

Thanks again for all of your help :)
