Hey everyone! I am on here looking for help with my new tank.
I'm not new to the hobby but it has been a while since setting one up.

So for the project. I recently picked up a hundred and fifty gallon fish tank and I'm looking for an idea of how to set it up. What I currently need help with is the sump planning as well as when I was recently moving the tank I clipped the bottom trim off and a bit of the glass. Can somebody tell me if it's still salvageable? Any help would be appreciated. Photos attached

    Also I have a 40 gallon sump underneath the measurements on the sump are 38L x 18w x 17h.

Thank you all in advance for the help.

You're probably okay, but its tough to say for sure. Does it hold water?

welcome to the forum! you're starting out with a nice size aquarium. I'm just a nervous nellie by nature but I'd be hesitant to use that tank if there's any chance of structural problems. You will put so much time, effort, and money into your tank, it would be awful if something gave out on the tank itself. I'm certainly far from an expert on its stability though :( just my .02
