Need help lowering my nitrate level

    "I was told that the nitrate levels will actually show lower if the bottles are well shaken. At least that's what one of the guys at that LFS told me." That sounds like nonsense and you might want to try a different LFS. API is the maker of the product and they wouldn't instruct you wrongly, in fact my LFS said API told them the opposite that is why I was double-checking with you on your procedure.

    to respond to the temp ? they will do fine my tank sits at about 79 80 and i have been very successfull with keeping them

    Yeah. Just picked up a used west coast aquatics chiller and able to stablize my temp at 79 now. It does a great job. In regards to test, I will give them another shot and see what they end up with. Hey guys, when I get the nitrates down and want to add some zoas, a green slimer and a montipora frag. Do I have to drip acclimate them before introducing?
