    You won't hav to rehome the volitans. They are perfect in a 100g tank that's not overloaded with rock.

    Did all your snails come from the same place? What kind of snails are they?

    Star polyps aren't as invasive as some others since they grow as a mat and won't relocate unless you move them.If you raised your salinity a little to 1.023 that should be fine.A couple of t-5HO bulbs should be enough light for them.There are also sevral varieties of them,some with longer tentacles. If you contact John at reefcleaners he can best advise on macroalgae,he's known to be very helpful.

    They are(were) large turbo snails from my lfs. About the size of golf balls. They all came from my lfs.
