    I remodeled my house and now my reef needs to go into another room.
    I reee-eee-aaaally (in the voice and manner of Jim Carrey) do not want to break it down entirely if I can avoid it.
    Is on a black iron stand and the lights hang. Right now I'm at about as much evaporation as the reef can take because I know I have to move it anyways. My plan/goal was to take out about 15 gallons (from a 40g tank) and put the aquarium and stand on movers coasters and a few of us push it without taking the rock or the fish out. It's going about 100 feet if that.

    ----->please don't laugh<------
    lol :p

    Is this at all possible? My aquascape is as perfect as it's ever been and my corals are all in permanent spots. waah.

    thanks

    Sounds like it will work fine Brandi,
    Just patience and a little TLC.

    Years ago, I moved my 30g FW cichlids tank that way.

    PS- shipped em today, should be there Monday, well keep our fingers crossed, yours did not make the trip.;-)

    buy 2 15G totes from walmart for $10 and move more water into those and then do it.

    $10 will save you a cracked tank and alot of BS.

    ok.... will my soft corals be ok exposed for like 30-60 minutes if I do that? If I took out 15gal it took the water to the midway line and everything stayed submerged.

    Todd- So stoked!!! I sent you a message about that mushroom too. I had a similar but strange happening recently. lmk if you got the msg.
