No. But are always scouring the tank during the day. I used to be a HUGE six line fan but my last one was actually bothering my clowns constantly sneakin up behind them. Not in my tank. LOL Don't get me wrong Dotty backs are aggresive as well but the ones I had ignored my clowns.8)

I bought madarines that were already trained to frozen...but then ignored what I put in...till they were near starving to death then finally decided to eat the frozen again. Now they'll eat any meaty food I put into the tank, my homemade fish food, bloodworms, enriched brine and the like.

The downside is needing to feed everyday, which the other fish LOOOOOVE of course.

6 line would be the easiest route to go, if you wanted a little tricker route, you could always go with a smaller pipefish. They love pods I have mine eating Cyclopeeze :) as well. Hes been around for a good 3 months and is a little fat stick :)

You could go the other wrasse route and do a Halichoeres genus. Canary wrasses are popular for this. As I've come to know you around here, you probably won't want to add any additional fish, but a 6 line would probably be an angry 6 line if you tried. I really dislike the Pseudocheilinus genus as I find them all to be bullies.

I also vote for the 6 line! Maybe get one that is close in size to your clowns. I had one in my 24 gal that picked on all my other fish and I had to send him packing eventually.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Too delicate for me, I would worry non-stop if it was not eating.

I really really like pipefish. If I had a large mixed reef and the right fish I would have a few. Glad yours is doing so well.

I have had Canary Wrasses in the past and thought they were a great fish. And I have had bad experiences with 6 lines and good ones. Probably the best suited to deal with the clownfish.

I am not worried about the clowns. She can now pick up a piece of good sized coral and dump it in the sandbed if she so desires.

LOL I had a Maroon clown that did the same thing! HAHAHA I once watched it pick up a piece of LR almost as big as her, and carry it to the corner of the tank where she had a huge rock/shell and frag pile.

get a mandarin! and NO! I DONT WANT ANY OF "my tank is too small!!!!" BS! Because it is possible to keep even in a small tank, ok? I had one in my 29 gallon by raising pods in a separate tank and just feeding it, but had to give it away since my tank is going through lots of changes. if I could maintain it well and healthy for 3 months then u should be able to as well.

Define irony: A 14 year old telling a saltwater veteran 40+ what to do... yes?
