Near Disaster While On Vacation

Man that really stinks. I'm dying to get back to my tank right now. I'm home on X-mas break from college. I sorted out food, set up timers, auto top off, the works. Right now one of my roommates is taking care of the feeding and filling the top off bucket up. Everything was going good until yesterday when I got a call saying he couldn't find one of my clowns. Apparently it had jumped so I feel your pain.

 

Thanks for the experiences guys and the tips. I rinsed and drained the food before going as well as adding the garlic and selcon. The days were labeled in separate tubs. The additional top off water was next to the tank and I showed the person how and where to add it. I have the water level taped on the center section of the sump for my own reference, and I forgot to mention that. That is one thing I will make sure gets mentioned next time. I am just glad that it was only a week. One more day and things would have been really ugly. Thanks and the vacation was incredible and tiring. A week at Disney with the family
