I am consider purchasing a Mini Tide LED fixture from Nano Box Reef for my 2.5g office pico reef. Is there anyone on this forum that owns a Tide or has other first hand experience with the product that can give me their opinions on it? Thank you.

I don't own one, but I looked them up after you posted this. They look like a really solid fixture and I saw several positive reviews from other sites.

11 diodes is probably more than enough for a 2.5 gallon pico, so I'm sure you would be happy with your purchase.

I would inquire a little further into the controllability of the fixture, i.e. dimming and channels, and wether or not you can customize which wavelengths go on which channel.

I spoke with the company's owner briefly and he indicated that it's an independent 2 channel dimable fixture (1-100%) and that they can be custom ordered if you want to specify which wavelengths are in each channel.

Look on NR under the NBR section in the sponsors area, one of the best lights out there easily IMO.

Thanks for the heads up @1.0reef I ended finding that subgroup yesterday. Poked around a bit. Lots of good photos, not much in the way of a "review"

They have turned out to be really nice fixtures. That'll be plenty of light for a pico!
