I have been slowly setting up a 46 gallon FOWLR tank and got the first half of our live rock this past weekend. My wife said maybe we can get more next weekend.

Tonight she was looking at our rock and found our first hitch hiker. It appears to be some type of bristle worm. She though it was really ugly, but kind of neat.

She started asking about putting fish in it so I started explaining about the tank cycle and that it will start a new cycle every time we add more rock, so I told her it could be a while before we can add any fish. So she told me I can go and get the rest of the rock tomorrow!

Not only that, when we were at the LFS this past weekend, I showed her some of the larger tanks they had and told her I would like to have something like that some day. She looked at the prices, then looked at me like I was nuts. Anyway, tonight when we were talking about the different fish that we may put in our tank, I explained that we were pretty limited with what we can put in there due to tank size and she started talking about the tanks that we saw and said she could see investing in one in the future!

I hope she keeps this attitude up.;D

I understand man. My wife is the same way now but it has taken me a few years to convince her. she started wanting to buy a bunch of zoas to put into my sps tank and I got tired of it and told her we needed to get her a zoa tank. Well we did that about 3 or 4 months ago. Just yesterday, I went to a buddies to buy a bluejaw trigger from him and my wife ended up buying a 26 bowfront to move all of our stuff out of the 16 into. I love it
