haha hey! he kinda does haha, I couldn't find marty... he is the other male, all four of them are eastern box turtles, I have two males and two females, I have had them for three years this is the fourth I am hoping they will lay eggs, I have seen them mate plenty of times just waiting for the female to lay ! I know its rare for them to breed in captivity but we have had it happen before. Sadly the baby died after ten years or so :(

Do they hibernate in the winter for you?

Baby turtles are the cutest things in the world IMO.

They do! indeed. I love it, this is the first year marty came out on his own I usually have to dig him up every spring!

They are outside they have a huge area thats fenced in on the side of my house. Every year they come out about may ish. I really wish I had some pictures of the baby he was the size of a quarter when it hatched two out of the 8 eggs hatched.. we smothered the rest because we didn't know what to do with them :/ so my dad put them in dirt but it smothers them they need like vermiculite to breath, two hatched one died a couple months after and then the other baby we had for a good ten or more years.. they are soooo cute im really hoping that they will lay one of these years!
