I was going to vegas trip, and just got back yesterday. I told my friend to just feed the tank twice a day, and dont touch anything. The lighting was on auto, so it was fine.

Here is the problem, I was in vegas for 2 weeks, visitng my aunt.
When i got home, I found out my heater was unplugged all 2 weeks, and water was around (((35 degrees)))). So my fish was alive when i got back, but in very very bad condition, and that poor clown died today, Clove polyp is alive....Kinda...all the clove polyp are leaning down, like a dried flower,
My torch, is almost all gone, 80% is a skeleton, Green star polyp, is still purple, and opens very little in light, and theres algaes all over the tank and glass.

I think all my hermits are dead also, Im suprised my cleaner shrimp is still healthy and active, all the snails are still living. Anyway I pluged in the heater today, and its still trying to get back to 77, If the water remains warm from now, do you think the corals will be more healthy again?
Especially the torch, I really really want that alive.

    35? seriously?

if it got so close to freezing fairly fast... maybe they'll bounce back :confused:

without any experience on that... I'd be surprised if anything survived...

    so sorry to hear...

how'd the heater get unplugged? are you two still friends?!

    good luck man. this sucks.

Holy crap dude, sorry to hear it.
I hope they do bounce back. If they don't just look at it as an opportunity to start fresh.
    K+ for your troubles.
