my tank became a puffer tank (9 puffers) dude...

    1 dogface
    1 hawaiian blue spotted puffer (toby)
    7 green spotted puffers.


    i originally had just the dogface, toby, and one gsp...but i went to petland and saw they had a bunch in. they were in disgusting condition and at the price of 4 dollars each i was like f' it.


    thats the stocklist (plus two green chromis who the puffers stalk)


    any potential problems?

    worst comes to worst ill give a few away for free to a marine aquarist. the dogface should be about a foot full grown/gps get about 6 inches/ the toby about 4-5 i guess?



    im feeding a diet of cocktail shrimp, squid, cherrystone clams, and randomn fish i can get (saltwater fish like haddock halibut etc). im in a seafood place so that helps ;)




    p.s. by problems i meant within the puffer community themselves. they are all fine right now and being filled up with food lol. the chromis im sure will one day go missing....

    the new gsps are like little pitbulls though. my og one is like a normal puffer doing his own thing. these new guys must of been fed feeders. the way they stalk the chromis and tore up a catfish in the store they were in. also i had a 6line which unfortunately i think they got.

    Idk if it will work but sounds cool. My favorite fw tanks are large groups of single species. good luck.
