hi people, well i figured i would just post some pics and specs of my tank and see what people think. now its only been up and running for just over a month, cycled with cured live rock so worked out very quick.

    size: 2 foot cube(24x24x24) 220 litre capacity
sump: 40 litre capacity -wet/dry filtration, protein skimmer
lights: twin t5 setup -one white, one blue (awaiting moonlights delivery)
powerheads: 2 - unsure of rating but should be heaps of flow
    live rock: 40kgs
    sand: aragonite

fish: 1x longnose hawkfish, 1x flame angel, 2x percula clowns, 1x blue/hippo tang, 1x eibli mimic tang, 1x red coris wrasse
+various hitchhikers(snails, few small stars, etc)

coral: 1x torch coral, 1x rock of green star polyps, 1x tree like soft coral? (unsure) 1x elegance coral, 4 frags including zoas, duncan, candy cane and flavia.sp

now yes my tank is too small for large tangs but mine are only around 2.5inches and i read they grow relatively slow, so ill be upgrading tank before that becomes a worry. they get along great at the moment, seems like the tangs and the flame angel are always hanging out. my mimic tang is my favourite tho for sure. The red coris wrasse is also small at the moment, around 3inches but he will be goin back to the lfs once i catch him as i would prefer to have shrimp and a decent clean up than such a pretty fish who will just eat them all haha

Yeah I'm just unsure of the blue tang, not that he is badly behaved or anythin.. Just now that I've looked into it I realize I would have preferred a kole or tomini tang buy hey what can ya do haha

You've got two tangs in a 50 gallon tank. This is not sustainable long term. You will have to upgrade to something in the 150-200 gallon range as these fish mature.

When I started my thread I stated how small my two tang are and that I would be upgrading tanks before this becomes a problem.. So no tang police thanks!
