My RBTA is brown?

Hi, I buy this rbta at a guy selling corals business at home. I pay 75$ for this rbta. It been in my tank about month now, but ever since it just light brownish color. I have see a lot with nice red color. I used LED light. What can I do to help it better color? Here are the pics. Let me know what you guy think, thank.

How much are you feeding it? Does it look clear or a solid brown? Is it hosing anything?

 

I only tried feed it one time, but it didn't take any. Is clear brownish. Nope not hosting anything. Is there something wrong with it?

 

can you give us some more information about your system... all equipment, all params, what lighting it came from and what lighting you have it under....

i have a rainbow bta under vhos for the last 3 weeks since i took my 150 down in a 90 holding tank and it has not changed any colors... but it and the green carpet willl soon be under leds....

Here are my tank run down.

ONLY have used RO/DI water.
Sump with chaeto and live rock and pods.
Bio Pellets reactor, been running it for 2 months.
Carbon and GFO reactor, been running it for 4 months.
Reef Octopus NW 150 skimmer.

Currently using 2 of this light unit. OCReef 3 Watt CREE Linear High Power Aquarium LED Light Fixture

Anyone have successfull with that light?

Only used Reef Crystal Salt from the 1st day.
20% W/C change every month.
I think my water parameters is in check. I can do a test when I get home.
Salinity is 1.025.

what size tank

 

I have to wonder if under different lighting the color would appear more reddish.

The anemone looks other wise healthy, but I have no idea how they do under LED's but I suspect it's the lighting, and coloration shifts do to changes in zooxanthella, related to lighting.

Only way to tell for sure is get another RBTA and see if it changes or looks the same under that lighting.

Ok thank, maybe it genetic brown RBTA? When I buy it is same color.
