my poor mantis :(

yea it really sucks man sorry for your loss as well. i just read how yours came about .. to bad. im getting ready to have a kid my self now i know to put some kind of lock on my stuff.

 

I'm very sorry. I'm no mantis expert, that's for sure. When my G. smithii molts, he goes underground into his den and I usually don't seen him for about 2 weeks. He shares his tank with a purple pseudochromis (I'm not sure who is meaner) and a brain coral. I threw the brain coral in there after my pygmy angel kept picking at it. It has done much better in the mantis tank! I hope things go better for your next mantis. They are fascinating!
