I do about a 15% each week so about 9 gallons! Or about 8 cups of reef crystals to get to 1.026! I mix that with a heater and a hydor 750 for 24 hours!

I then siphon small amounts out at a time while using an airline to return the new saltwater! Critique at will.)

I do the same thing. empty out a few gallons and then use an airline to add the new into the sump.

ok, i feel better ;) the hard part is lifting 9 gallons of water in a flexible tub to shoulder height without getting wet.

::) lol. I hear ya. I do the five gallon pail and put it on a chair beside the sump so it can be high enough for gravity to do the work for me

I turn off my ATO. Empty the amount I want. Throught the ATO pump into my fresh saltwater, and then have it pump it back up to the right amount. Pretty simply :)

We pump it out with a small pump and tubing, and pump new in with our old return pump that we replaced (since we can't get the container high enough for the small pump to work).

I found the hose from my old gravel vac, fits perfectly on my quiet one pump, saves tons of labour.

yeah i have a hydor nano ready as soon as i get the tubing, but i kind of consider it a work out after carrying it from the basement! But age and laziness is catching up.
